review what the kids wrote (Colosseum, types of columns, mythology)
Introduction (binder), syllabus signature due Monday
ita/non exercise (who has been to Disneyland? Disneyworld? Likes chocolate? Etc.)
possum/non possum (who can play violin? piano? swim? do 1000 jumping jacks?)

Monday (Ca and Mg)
Do Now: 1. Place Syllabus signature on your desk in front of you  2. Write today's entry in your CJ  3. (for Ca only) Label binder tabs as follows: Bellwork/Notes, Homework/Classwork, Tests/Quizzes, Vocabulary
Objectives: familia, mater, pater, filius, filia, servus, coquus, canis
The Cambridge familia (Stage 1 model sentences 1-7) - introduction Latine
Q&A cold calling... quis est coquus? mater? filia? etc.
Q&A cold calling... quis est Lucia? Metella? Quintus?
Homework: ON A FLASHCARD, pick a TV family you like or your own family and write down the names of at least four family members and ID each as pater, mater, filia, filius, canis, infans, coquus, etc.

Tuesday (Ca) / Wednesday (Mg)
Do Now: Write in CJ and show me familia
While I'm checking familiae, watch "Caecilius and His House" from CLC
PPT of TV families... on paper write down the Latin word that describes the person
Review families that students brought in (pull up and show pictures - use white boards to test)
Check vocabulary and character ID with this ppt (for a grade)
